The Samsung iDCS 500 (DCS stands for Digital Communications System) is a digital phone system with Voip capabilities designed for the medium to large sized business. It can operate with the functionality of a square key phone system, PABX or a combination of both. Since the release of Samsung’s newest line of phone systems, the OfficeServ, Samsung has since changed the name of this iDCS system to the OfficeServ 500. This system although a generation behind the newest Officeserv line, is still sold new. In fact the iDCS phones that came with the system are still sold with some of the newest OfficeServ packages.
